This course covers the application of neuroscientific methods to the study of human cognition, with a focus on the analysis and interpretation of functional Neuroimaging data using the General Linear Model. Topics covered include the basic principles of fMRI/PET/FNIRS/EEG, application of these methods to the study of normal and disordered cognitive processes including perception, memory, attention and reading. Students will gain theoretical and hands- on experience with processing and analysis of BOLD MRI time series using the General Linear Model. These topics will be covered a sufficient level to provide students with the ability to critically evaluate cognitive neuroscientific literature.
