Help us keep CollegeClassReviews useful and respectful for everyone.
- Write reviews based on your genuine experience in the course.
- Be specific -- mention what you liked, what was challenging, and what future students should know.
- Rate honestly. A tough but fair class can still get a high rating.
- Keep it constructive. Criticism is fine; be respectful about it.
- Update your review if your perspective changes over time.
- Vote on other reviews to help surface the most helpful ones.
- Post reviews for courses you have not taken.
- Include personal attacks, slurs, or harassment targeting professors or students.
- Share private information about anyone (phone numbers, addresses, etc.).
- Post spam, advertisements, or irrelevant content.
- Submit duplicate reviews for the same course.
- Attempt to manipulate ratings by creating multiple accounts.
Reviews that violate these guidelines may be flagged by the community and removed after review. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative. Honest criticism is valuable and protected.
If you see a review that violates these guidelines, use the flag button on the review. Our team will review flagged content and take action if needed.
The best reviews include:
- Which semester and professor you had
- Specific details about exams, assignments, and grading
- How many hours per week you spent on the course
- Tips for future students taking the class
- Whether you would recommend the course and why
If your review was removed and you believe it was done in error, you can appeal the decision by contacting us at support@collegeclassreviews.com. Include your username and details about the review in question.
We aim to respond to appeals within 48 hours. If your review is reinstated, you will be notified by email.
