When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and optionally your major. When you write a review, we store the content of that review along with your user ID.

We also collect standard usage data such as page views and browser type to improve our service.

Your information is used to provide and improve CollegeClassReviews. We use your email for account authentication and important notifications. Review content is displayed publicly, but your identity is not attached to individual reviews.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research purposes. We use third-party services (hosting, analytics) that process data on our behalf under strict privacy agreements.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Supabase Auth, and row-level security on our database. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

You can access, update, or delete your account and personal data at any time from your dashboard. If you wish to have all your data removed, contact us and we will process your request.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

Analytics cookies (if enabled) are anonymized and used solely to understand how students use the site so we can improve the experience.
