This course provides an overview of the primary empirical research methods used within experimental philosophy. Experimental philosophers use the tools of the cognitive and social sciences to investigate the kinds of judgments that people make about philosophical issues, the ways they conceive of these issues, and how empirical data about such matters can contribute to ongoing philosophical debates. This course is dual-listed with PHI 524.
