NBC 417LLB—Leading Professional Nursing Practice to Achieve Quality Outcomes Within Systems and Across Populations

The purpose of this course is to prepare the baccalaureate nursing student for transition to professional nursing practice as a leader from the bedside to the boardroom. Emphasis is placed on guiding decisions and collaborative practice through the use of ethical decision-making. Students will be prepared to enter practice with the ability to identify, plan, and implement evidence-based strategies to improve quality, safety, and patient outcomes across diverse populations.
