Core topics include discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation, trading and transaction comparables, and the analysis of key financial ratios. The course also introduces methods for evaluating investment projects. Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, forecasting, and presentation. Through applied exercises and real-world case discussions, students will gain the ability to assess corporate performance, test assumptions, and analyze the effects of market events on firm valuation. By the end of the course, students will be able to build comprehensive financial models, interpret valuation outcomes, and apply analytical frameworks to support investment or strategic decisions.
