Also considers kinematics of body motions, instantaneous centers of joint motions, behavior of normal and abnormal joints, remodeling, biomaterials, and ligaments and tendons. Also studies functions of orthotics and prostheses, including design considerations. Involves a weekly seminar and one or two laboratory sessions.
