PrerequisitesDrawing on the interdisciplinary literature in the fields of Critical Disability Studies, Indigenous Studies, Sociology, and Architecture, this course centers on understanding Indigenous disability as an analytic - a way of understanding systemic inequality by attending to the structural processes by which Indigenous disabled peoples are diagnosed, assessed, policed, incarcerated, and excluded from full and meaningful participation in society.
