- This course concentrates on the Renaissance in Italy from the fourteenth through the early sixteenth century. The focus will be on intellectual world, exploring the understanding of human potential in both the active and the contemplative life as well as the influence of classical and Christian antiquity. Attention is also be paid to the social and political context in the urban centers of Venice, Florence, and Rome. PRE, EUR
