- This course teaches equity valuation. Students determine the fair and intrinsic value of publicly traded common stock by using discounted cashflow analysis and relative valuation techniques. Student outcomes produce a buy, sell, or hold opinion. In addition, class coverage includes discussions on other dynamics that influence equity valuation such as industry analysis and macro-economic factors. This class covers most the CFA Level 1 equity portion of the exam.
