Good intro programming class. The assignments are interesting and the pace is appropriate for beginners. Prof Yin is clear and patient. The only downside is that the lab sections feel rushed sometimes. But overall a solid foundation in programming.

Tip: Attend every lab. The TAs go over the homework and you can basically finish it there.

One of the best classes I have taken at Cuse. Newhouse classes hit different. Prof Greer brings in guest speakers from the industry and the discussions are actually interesting. The workload is minimal - mostly participation and a few short papers. Easy A and genuinely enjoyable.

Interesting class about American government at Maxwell. Prof Gadarian is clearly passionate about the subject and ties in current events well. Exams are a mix of MC and short essay. The readings are heavy some weeks but you can skim and be fine. Good for poli sci requirements.

Tip: Read the study guides she posts before exams. They are gold.

Bio 121 was rough. The amount of memorization is insane and the exams test obscure details from the textbook. The labs are long and the reports take hours. Pop quizzes keep you on your toes which is stressful. There is a curve but you still need to study hard to pass.

Tip: Anki flashcards saved my life in this class. Make them after every lecture.
