ENGL 2001—Literature, Ethnicity, and Immigration

Examines ways in which ethnicity, migration, and immigration are represented in literature. Students develop understanding of literary aesthetics and analytical approaches while exploring topics such as national belonging, ethnic identity, family dynamics, immigration experiences, memory, and diaspora concepts.
