Gen chem at Bing is a weed-out class for sure. The lectures move too fast and the exams are way harder than the practice problems. The lab reports take forever and the pop quizzes are annoying. There is a curve at the end but I still felt like the grading was unfair. Pre-meds beware.
Tips for success
Khan Academy and Professor Dave Explains on YouTube are your best friends. The textbook alone wont save you.
Expect to spend significant time outside class.
