Familiarizes students with computers and other information systems technologies in organizations. Topics include IT strategy, infrastructure, emerging technologies, telecommunications, security, privacy, ethics, and analytics. Students develop computational thinking skills through hands-on programming experiences and work with spreadsheet and database software.
Basic info systems class. You learn about databases, networking, and business IT stuff at a high level. Its not super exciting but its not hard either. The group project was the most annoying part because its hard to coordinate schedules with commuters. Grade-wise very manageable.
