The class is advertised as needing only basic coding . To hammer this point: during the first class meeting , prof said , you only need to know loop control, function definitions, and libraries to succeed in this class.--100% NOT true. The difference between the skill level that is claimed you need and what you actually need is a straight-up sucker punch. That said prof Ewaisha provides a weekly 2 hr recitation where he "reviews" the topics that you've likely never seen before. The actual class lectures are just a dude reading slides and provide very little useful information.

Tip: Watch Anna Bell's MIT Python lectures and follow along with your IDE. You need to know python pretty deeply to do well in this class. So be warned.
